RSM launches Ready4 with National Disability Services and the ACT Council of Social Services

RSM has launched Ready4 alongside  National Disability Services (NDS) and the ACT Council of Social Services (ACTCOSS), creating a central point of contact for organisations transitioning over to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in the ACT.

The Ready4 program was commissioned by the ACT Government.

Ready4 offers business tools; peer networking; training; facilitation; one-on-one business analysis and support; and engagement opportunities to assist disability service providers and community service organisations meet the opportunities and challenges of a changing service delivery and funding environment.

Andrew Sykes, Director, RSM, said, “Ready4 will run until December 2016. During this time it will work with organisations to undertake initiatives to build the capacity to thrive in an environment that requires new business models and service design in a community context.

“Through its work in sector development and in bringing together a single source of information, Ready4 will provide a range of assistance for organisations to be ready for the NDIS, and foster ongoing collaboration across the community sector that will endure well beyond 2016.”

Ready4 will create an online portal to bring together resources, information about sector support such as checklists and templates, and significant information on the NDIS from a wide variety of sources including links and references to other complementary activity being undertaken in the ACT and nationally, and upcoming events.

Andrew Sykes said, “Ready4 has more than 20 highly-experienced and qualified business, community sector and NDIS consultants ready to support and guide organisations on NDIS readiness, collaboration and sustainability.

“The Ready4 team can assist in all areas including strategy, corporate governance, client and market focus, financial sustainability, people and capability, information and knowledge management and safeguarding quality management and improvement.

“RSM has already been providing NDIS transition and key business advice to many ACT and national organisations as well as organisations based in NSW and Victoria. The online portal will also provide an avenue for organisations outside the ACT to access valuable support and resources for transitioning to the NDIS.”

RSM can assist in establishing and implementing sound business plans and strategies, and in evaluating and redesigning business processes to facilitate transition to the new NDIS environment.
