Jake Dutot

Senior Manager

Jake is an Assurance Senior Manager in the George Town, Grand Cayman office of RSM Cayman Ltd. He has over 11 years of experience in the accounting and finance sector markets in the Channel Islands and the Cayman Islands.

Jake began his career in audit in 2011, entering a training contract with Saffery Champness in Guernsey, Channel Islands. Jake qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in January 2016 and was promoted to Assistant Audit Manager in January 2018. He joined RSM Cayman in November 2020 as an Assurance Manager and has since, been promoted to Senior Manager in October 2022.  

Jake has gained substantial experience in the audit of various financial services entities throughout his career, including captive insurance companies, hedge funds and private equity vehicles operating across various asset classes such as traditional listed equites, venture capital and digital assets. His client base has consisted predominantly of entities reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America (US GAAP) and United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (UK GAAP).

In addition to the above, Jake undertook a three-month secondment to the Financial Services team at CohnReznick LLP in New York City in 2018, where he undertook audit engagements for a varied portfolio of asset management clients.

Jake is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA).
