Elena holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of LaVerne and an MSc in Organizational Psychology from the University of London, Βirkbeck. Elena is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Cyprus in the Department of Business and Public Administration. She is also accredited by the Cyprus Human Resources Development Authority (HRDA) as a Vocational Trainer Level EQF5 and an accredited Advanced Sound Labor Relations Officer.
Moreover, she is a Certified Psychometric Assessor by the British Psychological Society (BPS), a European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) Accredited Coach/Mentor at the Senior Practitioner Level, an EMCC Accredited Team Coach at Practitioner Level and a 3 Brains Certified Coach, applying the most successful neuroscience techniques in her coaching practice.
Furthermore, she has served for two years as Vice- President of EMCC Cyprus (2021-2022). She also holds the position of Vice-President of Periklis Foundation, and is a Board Member of the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) Cyprus Chapter. Additionally, she is a full member of the Cyprus Human Resources Association (CyHRMA), the Sound Labour Relations (SLR) Network, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in the United States, and the Women's International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA). She is also a member of the Academy of Management (U.S.A) and the European Academy of Management (EURAM), participating and presenting in their annual conferences as an author and discussant.
Throughout the last 20 years, Elena excelled professionally in operations, management of HR Departments, strategic HR business partnering and consulting, training and coaching.
