The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (HKEx) published a consultation paper outlining a proposal to increase the Main Board HKEx profit requirement. If adopted, the proposal would impact the market considerably.

At this webinar, we have invited a number of industry representatives and professionals, including lawyer, investor, private equity fund and entrepreneur, to express their views. Through this sharing, we shall analyse both the pros and cons of HKEx's suggestions from different angles and make comments and suggestions to the consultation paper.

Eugene has 20 years of management experience. He was qualified with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Hong Kong and joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1997 and became a Partner in 1998. Eugene joined RSM Hong Kong as a Partner in 2000 and is now the Managing Partner of the Firm.

Eugene accumulated over 25 years of experience in the accounting profession. He has extensive experience in providing auditing, financial advisory and business valuation services to clients in a variety of industries, including NGOs, professional services, textile, electricity, automotive, telecommunication, software developments, internet business, advertising and real estate. He is also the partner-in-charge on over twenty initial public offers in Hong Kong Stock Exchange.


Mr. Mike Suen

Mike is a partner in the corporate team. He has over twenty years’ experience in corporate nance and specialises principally in initial public offerings on the Main and Growth Enterprise Market Boards of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, including the listing of real estate investment trusts. He also has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations, compliance pertaining to Hong Kong listing rules and local securities regulatory compliance.

Mr. Michael Poon

Michael founded Integrity Partners Capital Company Limited in 2016 as Managing Director, responsible for advising and leading clients on Hong Kong listing matters and private equity fund businesses and financial activities. Michael has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, financial reporting, business advisory, auditing, taxation, accounting, merger and acquisition. He has a proven track record in assisting clients in the medical devices industry, biomedical industry, loudspeaker and audio systems industry, oil and gas industry and F&B industry.

Prior to establishing Integrity Partners Capital, Michael was the managing director and investment director of Infinity Equity Management Company Limited, a leading Israeli-based private equity firm. His previous and recent employment with other established companies include senior accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co., which was merged into PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2002, and board of directors and/or chief financial officer of a number of listed companies in Hong Kong.

Michael obtained a  bachelor’s degree in administrative studies from York University, Canada, and a master’s degree in accounting from Monash University, Australia.  Michael is a fellow member of HKICPA, a member of CPA Australia and was a licensed representative of Canfield Corporate Finance Company Limited, a license corporate, by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong to carry out Type 6 (advising on corporate finance) regulated activity under the Securities and Futures Ordinance. He has also passed the qualification examination of the Asset Management Association of China.

David graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical engineering.
