EUROPEAN GREEN DEAL AND SACE 'GREEN' GUARANTEES
As a national and international leader in Strategic Planning activities, as well as one of the Advisors of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti for the Superbonus - 110% operation, RSM has also structured itself internally to work alongside companies at SACE S.p.A., which has been identified by the Government and exclusively to issue guarantees for projects aimed at facilitating the green transition ("green" SACE guarantees), in accordance with the objectives of the European Green Deal (see European Taxonomy of Sustainable Activities) and the CIPE Guidelines.
Commitments made benefit from State guarantees that can be applied to projects aimed at:
- Facilitating the transition to a clean and circular economy
- Integrating production cycles with low-emission technologies
- Accelerating the transition to sustainable, multimodal mobility
- Reduce pollution, restore ecosystems, promote climate change mitigation and adaptation and protect water resources
The SACE "green" guarantee is irrevocable, unconditional and on first demand, and can cover up to a maximum of 80% of:
- Corporate financing (also in project finance)
- Structured financing (including project finance)
- Green corporate bond issues (eligible for European taxonomy)
- Subscriptions to green bond issues (eligible for European taxonomy)
- Bail

In quest’ottica RSM è in grado di offrire un’attività di pianificazione strategica, verifica di compliance sulla tassonomia EU e valutazione d’impatto, che rappresentano elementi indispensabili per realizzare progetti di trasformazione produttiva in linea con i requisiti richiesti dal Green Deal Europeo e che, pertanto, possano accedere alle risorse rese disponibili. RSM assiste le imprese su una vasta gamma di operatività:
- strutturazione dell’operazione di finanziamento (loan, project finance, green bond)
- supporto nelle attività di assurance
- attività di reporting
- identificazione dello strumento finanziario adeguato a supportare ogni iniziativa
- elaborazione dei documenti di offerta
- Due Diligence e analisi di idoneità (EU Taxonomy Compliance)
- predispone i KPI Green
- avvia e gestisce il confronto con istituti finanziari e SACE
Al fine di consolidare ulteriormente la proposta, RSM collabora con primari Studi Legali di rilievo internazionale e con Open Impact, spin-off universitario innovativo che ha brevettato una piattaforma unica di valutazione dell’impatto, già attivata con successo nel caso di grandi progetti di infrastrutture pubbliche (porti, autostrade etc.).
