Joe Lee has over 20 years of experience in external and internal audit advisory, risk management, governance, financial management, business process enhancement, transformation and cost savings services.
He has the experience of working in a cross-functional commercial environment that covers the areas of procurement, sales and marketing, warehousing and distribution, inventory, logistic, production, orders processing, contracts and project implementation. In this capacity, he has led many cross-functional cost savings projects in the areas of fuel diversification, packaging improvement, MRO materials consolidation, logistics rationalisation and inventory reduction.
Joe has led and completed risk management and internal audit projects for numerous clients involved in various industries such as manufacturing (various industrial and consumer products); oil & gas; automotive; power & energy; property development; construction as well as leisure & hospitality services. In addition to this, he has executed internal control reviews and assessments for companies seeking Initial Public Offering on Bursa Malaysia. He has also led corporate liability engagements for clients covering corporate compliance, corporate liability risk assessments, training for board members and senior management.
Joe is a frequent speaker on strategic procurement governance and internal audit practices for CPE programmes of MIA and other professional institutes, and conducts workshops and forums on audit related subjects.
Prior to this, Joe has worked with Big Four accounting firm, public listed companies and multi-national corporations based in Switzerland and Vietnam.
