Erik Schat

Erik has been working for RSM since 1999 and is active as a partner as of 1 January 2005. Besides being a chartered accountant, he is also a register EDP auditor. Erik started his career in 1989 with one of the legal predecessors of PWC. He gained a lot of experience in advising and auditing organizations, varying from large international to smaller DMS practices, as well as profit and non-profit organizations.

Erik has followed his training as a chartered accountant at the Royal NIVRA and the Nyenrode University. In addition, he followed the EDP auditor training at the Free University in Amsterdam. He also participated in both internal training programs and programs for continuing education, and provided these training programs.

Erik fulfills various other positions, including being a part-time teacher (Advanced Auditing) at the post master's program in accountancy at Nijenrode and is an examiner for the RA-program. Erik is also involved as a board member in local organizations. he is, among other things, treasurer at the Boekelermeer Beheersing Foundation.
