Kumar Aravinda

Consultant

Kumar is a Consultant based in our Auckland Central office, with over 30 years of audit experience. 

He has a wealth of well-rounded specialist experience, and served as a Partner with the firm until his retirement at the end of 2021.

Kumar has a genuine interest in delivering clients a quality and timely service. He also believes in a no surprise approach to the fee charged for services. His passion and ability to understand his clients' business needs is balanced by an approachable, relaxed demeanour and an excellent sense of humour. 

Kumar served as a member to the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountant's Professional Standards Board for eight years.  The Board was responsible for developing all professional and ethical standards other than the Financial Reporting Standards, and was made a Fellow 

Qualifications

Kumar is a Chartered Accountant and was awarded a Fellowship of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) in 2021. Kumar has held a certificate of Public Practice, necessary to issue audit opinions, since 1998.  He is also a Qualified and Licensed Auditor in New Zealand.

Kumar is also an associate member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK. 

Personal

Kumar is married to Geetha and has a son. A keen golfer, Kumar also is the auditor of prominent golf clubs in Auckland. He is a keen walker and enjoys tramping throughout New Zealand.
