Anton Bouwer

Divisional Director: Data Analytics

Anton has more than 25 years of audit and data analytics experience. He completed auditing articles  with Deloitte and during his professional career has worked at First National Bank, PwC, BDO, Metropolitan Life and Old Mutual in South Africa.

In Europe, he managed the Information Security division of Deloitte Hungary and led the professional services team at ACL in Belgium.

After his return to South Africa in 2005, Anton consulted to PwC, BDO and CQS and founded BST Technology, a company specialising in the implementation of data analytics and continuous auditing solutions.

BST Technology merged with RSM South Africa and formed Beta Software. Anton took on responsibilities to manage the RSM data analytical division and also manages Beta Software.

Solutions

Anton’s experience in using data analytics to identify fraud and weaknesses in internal controls within transactional and ERP systems spans a vast number of clients. His particular areas of expertise are ERP database architectures and independent data access methodologies.
