José María Baños

José María Baños is a partner at RSM and specialises in Digital Law.

He is specialized in corporate law, procedural law, IT law and e-commerce, Intellectual Property and data protection.

José María is a professor of several programs at ICEMD – ESIC and Antonio de Nebrija University.

Member of the Expert Committee for the Resolution of Domain Conflicts appointed by Adigital.

José María Baños has the APEP Certification Privacy as a Legal Consultant, which was provided by the Spanish Professional Association of Privacy (APEP).

Member of several associations: DENAE (Spanish Association of Entertainment Law), Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Spain, Swedish Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to his current position, José María began his professional career at Fernando Scornik Gerstein Abogados & Solicitors, reaching the position of Commercial Law and New Technologies Manager. Subsequently, he worked in firms such as BROSA Abogados y Economistas or Lequid, where he reached the position of Partner in the new technologies department. In 2012, he founded his own legal practice under the name Letslaw, which joined RSM Spain in 2022.

He holds a degree in Law at University Complutense of Madrid and Master’s Degree in New Technologies Law at Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid.
