Decree 68/2020/ND-CP (“Decree 68”)

6 July 2020
On 24 June 2020, Government has issued Decree No. 68/2020/ND-CP (“Decree 68”) amending and supplementing Clause 3, Article 8, Decree No. 20/2017/ND-CP on guiding tax administration for enterprises engaging in related party transactions. Decree 68 took effect from the date of signing and is applied for Corporate Income Tax ("CIT") year of 2019.

Decree 58/2020 ND-CP (“Decree 58”)

Proposed new tax law

Derivatives trading: Individual investors must pay 0.1% tax

Individual investors that participate in derivatives trading market have to pay a 0.1 per cent income tax for derivatives trading transactions. The tax is imposed on the trading prices of derivatives transactions, which could be sell and buy orders and expiry of the futures contracts.

New regulations on import and export
