Biography

Nayef Al-Yaseen is the Office Managing Partner of RSM Al Bazie & Co., bringing over 33 years of experience in Assurance, Tax, Consulting and Family Business Advisory across various industries including Financial Institutions, Construction & Building Materials, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Education and Non-profits.

He began his professional journey with the Firm in 1992, followed by a secondment at Arthur Andersen's Chicago office from 1993 to 1994, where he gained international exposure. After the collapse of Andersen, Nayef with the remaining colleagues rebuild the Firm from a team of 40 to a workforce of approximately 200, contributing significantly to its growth and strategic direction.

Today, Nayef leads the Firm’s overall operations and strategic initiatives. His responsibilities span client relationship management, quality and operational leadership, with a particular focus on automation and digital transformation, ensuring alignment between innovation, quality, service delivery, governance, controls and transparency.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bradley University, U.S.A. in 1992.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from U.S.A. in 1996.
  • Kuwaiti Association of Accountants and Auditors (KAAA).

  • In-charge of several major audit projects which includes Banks, Investment, Construction, Real Estate, Services, Healthcare, Trading and Non-Profit Organizations.
  • In charge and manages a team in relation to the preparation of prospectus for companies to be listed in the stock market in the U.A.E. and Kuwait.
  • Claim advisory division leader for Kuwaiti entities suffered losses as a result of the illegal Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.
  • Represented a large number of clients in UN Compensation Claim projects.
  • Represented client in a M&A Transaction.
