Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in daily management of insolvency assignments
- Conduct investigations of the financial affairs of insolvent companies/bankrupts
- Draft reports/documents to the Court, the Official Receiver and other stakeholders to comply with the statutory requirements
- Conduct site visit for recovering and/or preserving the books and records and assets
- Support various restructuring and insolvency assignments, including business recovery, corporate insolvency administration, receivership and personal bankruptcy
- Support other business advisory services and ad hoc assignments
Requirements
- Degree holder, major in accounting, finance or other related disciplines
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in restructuring and insolvency
- Qualified HKICPA accountant or equivalent professional qualification is preferred but not a requisite
- Able to think strategically, with good business sense and commercial awareness
- Sound financial and business analytical skills
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to write concise and well-structured reports in English or Chinese
- Relevant PRC exposure and experience are highly preferable
- Strong problem-solving skills, multi-tasking and organizational skills
