RSM Shiodome Partners today announced that, effective September 1, 2026, the following four professionals will each take on a new role:

Karin Enomoto (RSM Shiodome Partners Tax Co.): International Tax Partner
Hirofumi Miyake (RSM Shiodome Partners Limited): International Tax Partner
Jumpei Fujii (RSM Shiodome Partners Tax Co.): Partner
Taihei Ichii (RSM Shiodome Partners Limited): Executive Director

Karin Enomoto and Hirofumi Miyake will together serve as International Tax Partners, leading the continued efforts to further strengthen the firm's services for foreign-owned businesses and international clients. Jumpei Fujii will join the partnership at RSM Shiodome Partners Tax Co., bringing extensive tax experience across corporate taxation, corporate reorganizations, and family businesses, to provide higher-value support for clients' increasingly complex tax needs. Taihei Ichii will be appointed Executive Director, retaining responsibility for the firm's West Japan region while leveraging his proven management capabilities to further strengthen the firm’s operational foundation and support its continued growth.

With these appointments, RSM Shiodome Partners further strengthens its management and client-service structure, drawing on the deep expertise and experience each of these professionals has built over the course of their careers with the firm. Karin Enomoto

International Tax Partner, RSM Shiodome Partners Tax Co.

Karin Enomoto joined RSM Japan Tax Co. (now RSM Shiodome Partners Tax Co.) in 2010 after working at Shin Nihon Ernst & Young Tax Co. (now EY Tax Co.) and several other firms. Over the years, she has built an extensive practice supporting foreign-owned companies and foreign individual clients through tax advisory and accounting outsourcing services, with particular depth in cross-border tax compliance. In 2024, she was appointed Director, taking on responsibility for the operations of multiple teams handling the firm’s English-language engagements while enhancing service quality and developing talent. In September 2026, she was named Partner, stepping into the role of International Tax Partner. She is a Certified Public Tax Accountant.
 

Jumpei Fujii

Partner, RSM Shiodome Partners Tax Co.

Jumpei Fujii joined Shiodome Partners Group in 2018 after working at several accounting firms in Tokyo. He has advised clients ranging from listed companies and listed subsidiaries to owner-managed businesses on complex tax matters, with particular expertise in corporate reorganization tax, Japan's group tax relief system, and taxation of public interest corporations, alongside extensive experience serving family-owned businesses. Drawing on his broad experience across industries and business types, he is skilled at navigating complex tax issues and delivering practical, well-considered advice. Appointed Director in 2024, he has driven the continued growth of the firm's tax practice through his commitment to high-quality service delivery. In September 2026, Jumpei was named Partner. He is a Certified Public Tax Accountant.
 

Hirofumi Miyake

International Tax Partner, RSM Shiodome Partners Limited

After graduating from university, Hirofumi Miyake joined Shiodome Partners Group in 2014. He has played a central role over the years in expanding the firm's professional services practice, providing tax advisory and accounting outsourcing services to listed companies, listed subsidiaries, and IPO-preparation companies, with particular experience advising foreign-owned companies entering the Japanese market. Since 2019, he has also overseen BPO center operations at the firm's Manila office, supporting the firm's growing outsourcing capabilities. Appointed International Tax Director in 2024, he has led the firm's English-language service team while driving its continued growth through talent development. In September 2026, Hirofumi was named Partner, taking on the role of International Tax Partner. He is a Certified Public Tax Accountant.
 

Taihei Ichii

Executive Director, RSM Shiodome Partners Limited

After completing his graduate studies, Taihei Ichii joined Shiodome Partners Group in 2017. He has provided a wide range of tax advisory and accounting outsourcing services to diverse array of clients, contributing to the growth of the firm's Accounting and Tax Division and strengthening its operational foundations. As Group Leader, he was responsible for talent management and helped establish the firm's Learning & Development Group, enhancing its training and development framework. He currently serves as head of the West Japan region, leading business development and organizational growth across western Japan. He also heads the group responsible for domestic and Greater China clients. In September 2026, Taihei was appointed Executive Director of RSM Shiodome Partners Limited. He is a Certified Public Tax Accountant.
