On September 24, 2026, RSM Shiodome Partners held the RSM Shiodome Partners Leadership Conference 2026 at the Tokyo American Club. Now in its second year, the event welcomed approximately 90 leaders and guests from offices across Japan.
This year’s theme was “Toward 2031, Starting Today. Leading the Next.” The program provided an opportunity for each leader to reflect on the organization’s future and their own role in shaping it.

In Part I, Mitsuaki Kanamori, Managing Director & COO, shared firmwide performance and key indicators, as well as the current position and future direction of both the organization as a whole and each business division, based on the policies presented at the companywide briefing on financial results and business plans.
The following panel discussion explored the theme “As an organization, what should we change—and what should we preserve?” Panelists discussed the culture and values that define RSM Shiodome Partners and should be maintained even as the business expands, as well as the organizational changes needed to support further growth.

“What does leadership mean to you?”
This year’s program included time for participants to express their own views on leadership. Selected attendees shared reflections based on their experiences and values, offering a variety of perspectives on what leadership looks like.
The second panel discussion, “What Is Leadership? Speaking from Experience,” featured speakers with different careers and responsibilities. They shared how they have engaged with people and teams, faced uncertainty, and made decisions while leading their organizations—providing deeper insight into leadership in practice.

In Part II, the networking reception brought together members who usually work in different offices or divisions. Participants enjoyed conversations throughout the venue and took group photos with the members from their Part I tables. Guests from RSM Seiwa also joined, creating an opportunity to strengthen connections across RSM Japan member firms.
RSM Shiodome Partners will continue to apply the ideas and insights shared during the conference as we move forward toward 2031.
