Dr. Cherif Hammouda obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the college of Commerce, Cairo University. He has a MBA and has obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) degrees in Finance with concentration in Tax Accounting in the year 2005 from University of Chester Business School in Cheshire, UK. He is a member of a number of professional organizations in Egypt and abroad including Egyptian Society of Taxation, Arab Federation of Accountants and Auditors, and International Fiscal Association. 

Dr. Hammouda is an international tax planning specialist. He works closely with internationally active businesses to ensure the company’s compliance with the ever-increasing complexity of tax rules around the world, which requires not only in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of local rules but also seamless co-operation between tax professionals in different jurisdictions.

Dr. Hammouda is a confident counselor to a number of businesses in Egypt on financial and organizational matters. He has experience in a wide variety of functional areas, including financial and business restructuring and administrative policies and procedures. He has served clients in a large number of sectors including real estate development, financial institutions, wholesale, distribution, retail, transportation, logistics and manufacturing.

He has been a financial consultant on public offerings of Eurobonds and GDRs for Egyptian companies. These offerings involved restructuring of the issuing companies.
