Position: Engineer / Sr. Engineer / Assistant Manager – Electrical – Quality

Indicative Job Description: 

• Develop and implement electrical quality control plans for incoming materials, in-process checks, and final product validation.
• Define inspection criteria and testing protocols aligned with IS standards.
• Compliance & Standards:
• Ensure adherence to national and international electrical standards (BIS, IEC, IEEE, MIL).
• Support audits and certifications including ISO 9001, AS9100, and other defence-specific quality systems.
• Evaluate and qualify electrical component suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits and drive corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Oversee electrical testing (Hi-pot, insulation resistance, continuity, EMC/EMI) for assemblies and systems.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality deviations.
• Prepare monthly quality dashboards and present findings to leadership.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Drive Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other quality improvement initiatives.
