Background:

As you are aware, the Government of India has announced ‘Production Linked Incentive’ Scheme. The objective of this Scheme is to promote manufacturing in India and reduce our import dependence on other countries. Total Financial Outlay is expected to be Rs.2 Lakh Crore covering 11 strategically and economically important sectors.

It is to be noted that while each PLI Scheme is different, the basic principles remains the same. Application window for some of the Schemes are announced by respective Ministries along with operational guidelines.
