The purpose of the paper is to understand the meaning and emergence of conduct risk, the behaviours which contribute to conduct risk in the BFSI sector and its mitigation. The paper also endeavours to assess the evolving regulatory environment and the approach towards auditing conduct risk. Conduct risk can be of a financial as well as non-financial nature.
