CBDT press release highlights signing of a record 174 Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) in FY 2024-25 is attached.

The total number of APAs since the programme’s inception is 815, including 615 UAPAs, 199 BAPAs, and 1 MAPA; This is the highest number of APAs signed in a single financial year, with 65 BAPAs—also a record—resulting from Mutual Agreements with India’s treaty partners including Australia, Japan, South Korea, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, UK & US; CBDT states that APA programme has contributed significantly to the Government's mission to enhance ease of doing business, particularly for MNCs engaged in extensive cross-border transactions.
