Jun Onoda served for 32 years with the Kanagawa Prefectural Police, primarily within the Criminal Investigation Division. Throughout his career, he was engaged in a broad range of investigative duties, including theft investigations, organized crime investigations, and initial incident command. He accumulated extensive experience from frontline police station operations to large-scale and organized crime response at Police Headquarters, demonstrating strong expertise in both field-level response and organizational command and control.

While serving in the Third Investigative Division at Police Headquarters, he led investigations into organized theft rings involving organized crime groups and their affiliates, as well as crimes committed by foreign criminal organizations. As Head of the International Intelligence Unit, he directed investigative activities based on domestic and international intelligence, implementing strategic measures to address wide-area and organized crime.

After retiring from the police force, he serves as a Crime Prevention and Security Advisor, providing practical crime prevention and security support to businesses.
