After completing a graduate degree in engineering, Ryota Nishioka gained practical experience at a software company and an automotive OEM before founding Smart Process Co.,Ltd. (now RSM Shiodome Partners Smart Process Limited), where he served as Representative Director. He has led the digitalization of development processes and operational efficiency improvements primarily in the manufacturing sector, consistently supporting clients from DX strategy formulation through to implementation. He has expertise in launching new business and driving innovation projects and has supported the growth of clients across a broad rand of industries. In July 2026, in connection with RSM Shiodome Smart Process joining RSM in Japan, he was appointed Partner, overseeing the IT Consulting Division.
