Effective July 1, 2017, RSM Puerto Rico ("RSM") admitted two of its Senior Audit Managers, Ginnette Fernández and Javier Ortiz, as new members of the partnership.  The move not only further solidifies what is already an eminent audit practice.  It is also seamlessly aligned with RSM's long-term succession planning process, an element that shall prominently resound during its upcoming 40th Anniversary Celebration.

Ginnette Fernández earned her bachelor's degree from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.  She immediately entered the public accounting field, making her mark in local, regional and international public accounting firms before joining RSM in 2011.  She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.  As an RSM Partner, she will facilitate the firm's currently expanding general audit practice, particularly adding value and expertise to clients in the wholesale, distribution and general services industries, as well as in the insurance vertical.

Since completing his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Puerto Rico, Javier Ortiz has been an active member in the public accounting profession.  With experience in regional network firms as well as in international audit practices, he is expected to continue bolstering RSM's presence in the manufacturing, consumer products and business and professional services industries, and is already providing a fresh perspective to the firm's business development team.  Javier is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Accountant and a Certified Valuation Analyst.

Doris Barroso, RSM's Managing Partner commented, "with the addition of Ginnette and Javier to the partnership, RSM further evidences how it is continuously evolving and growing."  RSM's Chairman of the Board, José Gómez, added, "we are now setting the table for a new generation of partners that shall continue to provide service excellence to our growing clientele."

Indeed these are exciting times at RSM.  With two new partners, the firm is better positioned to afford all of its clients with The Power of Being Understood.
