He graduated from Galatasaray High School in 1991 and from Boğaziçi University, Department of Political Science and International Relations, in 1996.

He began his professional career as a Management Trainee at Interbank. In 1998, he joined the Turkish Competition Authority as an Assistant Competition Expert, later serving as a Competition Expert and Acting Head of the 4th Department. During his tenure at the Authority, he was involved in numerous investigations, mergers and acquisitions, exemption and negative clearance proceedings, as well as privatization cases.

He attended professional training at the College of Europe and pursued postgraduate studies in Regulation at the London School of Economics. He also completed a master’s degree in Banking at Marmara University.

From 2008 onwards, he served as Regulatory Affairs Manager and Ankara Representative at Avea İletişim Hizmetleri and subsequently provided competition law advisory services at various law firms. Between 2013 and 2026, he served as Competition Law Advisor to Yapı Kredi Bank and its subsidiaries.

In 2026, he joined RSM Türkiye as Partner and Competition Law Advisor.
