Anshul is a senior corporate finance and M&A advisor with close to 25 years of experience across Tier-1 global consulting firms, investment banks, and professional services organisations. He has worked with marquee institutions including Bank of America, Tata Capital, and KPMG.

Prior to joining RSM, Anshul served as Senior Director at KPMG for ~12 years, where he led the Corporate Finance and Deal Advisory practice in Bahrain and headed M&A for KPMG in the GCC, managing a team of 20 professionals. He later served as Senior Partner and Head of Corporate Finance & Transactions Advisory for the Middle East at Baker Tilly, as well as Managing Partner for the Bahrain office.

Anshul has a proven track record of building teams from the ground zero, offering a wide range of advisory solutions. Extensive experience in managing diverse, multicultural teams and manages multimillion dollar portfolio of annual “fee advisory" engagements.

Over his career, Anshul has originated, structured, negotiated, and closed transactions exceeding USD 10 billion+ across the MENA region, North America, India, and APAC. He has served clients across diverse sectors — including Financial Services, Healthcare, Telecom & Digital Infrastructure, Education, Hospitality, and Industrial Services — providing high-impact strategic, transaction, and operational advisory to boards, shareholders, and CXOs on value-maximising strategies relating to exits, growth initiatives, joint ventures, financing, carve-outs, restructuring, and strategic investments.

His expertise covers the full deal lifecycle, including buy- and sell-side M&A, debt advisory, capital markets transactions, PPPs, infrastructure investments, fund-raising, IPO readiness assessment, restructuring, insolvency, turnaround situations, as well as market entry strategies and business model transformation initiatives. His work has helped institutions strengthen capital adequacy, improve profitability, and enhance long-term resilience.
