Dipu Barua

Mr. Barua is a Director at RSM Bangladesh Consulting Limited, with over 12 years of professional experience in corporate taxation, vat, tax planning, fiscal compliance, business structuring and regulatory advisory.

He has extensive experience in advising multinationals, foreign invested and leading local businesses across a range of industries. His areas of expertise include corporate and international tax, vat and indirect taxation, tax efficient business structuring, tax assessments and disputes, cross border transactions, DTAAs, transfer pricing and regulatory matters. 

His industry experiences involve FMCG and manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, energy and power, infrastructure, logistics, hospitality, business and professional services, etc. among others. 

Mr, Barua has also contributed to Bangladesh's tax policy and reform discussions, including professional recommendations on direct and indirect taxation, and representing ACCA Bangladesh in discussions with the National Board of Revenue regarding The Income Tax Act. 

With extensive experience in taxation, Mr. Barua brings a thoughtful, solution-oriented approach to his engagements, emphasizing technical excellence and long term client relationships.
