Google Cloud introduces conversational analytics in BigQuery
Google Cloud has unveiled Conversational Analytics capabilities for BigQuery, currently available in preview, enabling users to interact with data using natural language directly within the BigQuery environment. This feature leverages advanced AI agents powered by Google’s Gemini models to interpret conversational queries, generate context-aware SQL, visualize results, and surface explanations grounded in business logic and metadata. Conversational Analytics aims to break down technical barriers to data analysis, allowing both technical and business users to ask questions in everyday language and receive trusted insights at speed while maintaining security and governance controls. Organizations interested in early access can enroll via the preview program.

Salesforce announces general availability of Slackbot as personal agent for work
Salesforce has announced the general availability of an upgraded Slackbot, designed to serve as a personal AI agent for work directly within Slack. The reimagined Slackbot brings enterprise-grade AI into the flow of work by leveraging existing conversations, files, permissions, and enterprise data to assist employees with tasks such as finding information, organizing work, creating content, and scheduling meetings, all without leaving Slack’s interface. Malicious Chrome extensions target NetSuite credentials
Several malicious Chrome extensions have recently been identified targeting NetSuite and other cloud services by stealing user credentials and hijacking active sessions. These extensions often claim to provide streamlined in browser access or account management tools for NetSuite, but may secretly capture login information and compromise accounts. Known malicious extensions include DataByCloud Access, Tool Access 11, DataByCloud 1, DataByCloud 2, and Software Access. NetSuite strongly advises organizations to immediately review installed browser extensions and remove any suspicious or unauthorized tools. If malicious extensions are discovered, affected users should reset their passwords and conduct a detailed activity review. To reduce risk, organizations are encouraged to enable two factor authentication for all roles to strengthen account security.

Critical n8n vulnerabilities expose enterprise AI automation to full takeover
Security researchers have uncovered critical sandbox escape and remote code execution vulnerabilities in the widely used n8n workflow automation platform that could allow authenticated users to gain complete control of affected systems. The latest flaw allows attackers bypass JavaScript sandbox protections and executes arbitrary system commands on n8n servers, potentially exposing environment variables, API keys, cloud credentials, and other sensitive data stored in workflows. Both self-hosted and n8n Cloud instances are at risk until patched. n8n has released fixes in version 2.4.0 and later, and organizations are urged to upgrade immediately, rotate stored credentials, and audit workflows for suspicious activity to mitigate these severe security risks.
