| Slack launches AI-driven agentic OS to streamline workplace collaboration Slack has announced the launch of its new Agentic OS, designed to integrate artificial intelligence into enterprise collaboration. The platform combines Slack AI, automation, and Salesforce CRM data to streamline workflows within a single workspace. It enables users to perform tasks such as conversation summarization, message drafting, and cross-platform search across tools like Gmail, Outlook, and Notion. According to Salesforce, the update aims to create a unified environment where AI agents and humans can collaborate efficiently. The announcement follows reports showing a 233% increase in daily AI usage among desk workers. OpenAI brings “Instant Checkout” shopping to ChatGPT OpenAI has launched a new feature called Instant Checkout that allows U.S. users of ChatGPT to purchase items directly within the chat interface. The initial rollout supports purchases from sellers on Etsy (U.S. only), with support for more than a million merchants on Shopify, including brands like Glossier, SKIMS and Spanx. Transactions are powered via payments partner Stripe and use an open-source standard called the Agentic Commerce Protocol, which allows merchants to stay in control of fulfilment, payment and customer relationships. With this move, OpenAI is moving beyond purely conversational assistance into actual commerce, enabling chat to become a buying interface rather than just informational. |

| Threat hunting builds readiness beyond awareness Proactive threat hunting is essential for modern cybersecurity, identifying vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, exposed credentials, and excessive privileges before attackers can exploit them. By gathering comprehensive data across networks, identities, cloud configurations, and systems, organizations can create an attacker-centric view of their environment. This allows teams to map attack paths, connect exposures to critical assets, and prioritize remediation based on business impact. While Security Awareness Month highlights the human side of defense, awareness alone cannot prevent breaches. Employees may recognize risks, but daily pressures and evolving threats allow vulnerabilities to persist. Threat hunting validates what employees know, uncovers hidden exposures, and ensures defenses are effective against real-world attacks. By combining awareness with continuous threat hunting, organizations create a structured, repeatable cycle that turns understanding into actionable readiness. Phishing campaign uses Azure Blob Storage to impersonate Microsoft A recent phishing campaign has been found hosting fake Office 365 login pages as static HTML files on Microsoft Azure Blob Storage, making malicious URLs appear under blob.core.windows.net and appear more legitimate. Attackers entice users with links to supposed Microsoft Forms or shared documents, then capture credentials and authentication tokens, putting entire tenants at risk. Recommended defenses include blocking or strictly whitelisting blob.core.windows.net endpoints at proxies or firewalls, enforcing multi-factor authentication and monitoring for anomalous logins in Microsoft Entra ID, and using custom tenant branding to help users identify legitimate sign-in pages. Users and administrators should note that official Office 365 login pages always use login.microsoftonline.com. |
