About Daniel

Chairman of RSM Switzerland, Daniel Rochat leads RSM Switzerland’s Corporate Finance and Transaction Advisory practice. He brings over 30 years of experience advising on domestic and cross-border transactions for entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, multinational companies, and private equity groups across a wide range of industries.

As co-founder of RSM Switzerland in Geneva, Daniel played a key role in the development of the firm and led the merger of all RSM entities in Switzerland in 2018, contributing to the creation of a fully integrated national organization.

Daniel began his career in the Audit Business Advisory Services department of PwC in Geneva before joining PwC’s Corporate Finance (M&A) division. There, he actively contributed to the expansion of the practice in Switzerland, managed numerous transactions and headed the Valuation & Strategy practice in Romandie.

He holds a degree from HEC Lausanne, is a Swiss Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Daniel is strongly committed to training young professionals, notably by delivering business valuation courses at EXPERTsuisse, the Swiss Expert Association for Audit, Tax and Fiduciary. He also regularly serves as a valuation and corporate finance expert in arbitration and court proceedings.
