You need a value when a decision depends on it: a deal, a loan, financial statements, a dispute or a damages claim. We prepare valuation reports with their reviewers in mind: auditors, lenders, courts and investors. We reach our conclusion on value independently. We disclose our data sources and professional judgements in the report, so readers can follow and test the calculation.
Our valuation services include:
- Valuation for financial reporting: fair value under IFRS 13, revaluation of property, plant and equipment, impairment testing (IAS 36), purchase price allocation (IFRS 3)
- Acting as the auditor’s expert: evaluating the methods, assumptions and data behind management’s valuations, or developing an independent estimate (ISA 540 (Revised), ISA 620)
- Valuation of businesses, business interests and shareholdings for transactions, investment and restructuring
- Collateral valuation for banks, collateral monitoring and distressed assets
- War damage valuation: actual losses and loss of profit for compensation mechanisms, courts and international arbitration
- Valuation for litigation and arbitration, including court-ordered valuations, and explaining our conclusions in court
- Valuation for notarial acts, contributions to share capital, taxation, leases, insurance and liquidation
- Market research: prices, rates and remuneration for banks and regulatory compliance.
We value:
- Real estate and land, civil engineering structures and construction in progress
- Machinery, equipment, vehicles and other movable property
- Businesses and integral property complexes, business interests, shares and other financial instruments
- Intangible assets and property rights, including intellectual property rights.
Valuation reports under Ukrainian national standards are prepared by RSM UKRAINE ADVISORY, a valuation company certified by the State Property Fund of Ukraine. For financial reporting, cross-border transactions and disputes, we also work under International Valuation Standards (IVS) and European Valuation Standards (EVS). We prepare reports in Ukrainian, in English or in both languages. Red Book valuations are undertaken or supervised, and signed, by an RICS member as the responsible valuer.
We assess war damage under Methodology No. 3904/1223 of the Ministry of Economy and the State Property Fund of Ukraine. We comply with national and international valuation standards, taking into account the specific features of the Methodology. Where an on-site inspection is not possible, including in the temporarily occupied territories, we inspect the asset remotely using satellite imagery, photographs and video.
Describe your situation in a few lines in the form below, and we will tell you which report you need and what to prepare.
