RSM Zambia appoints John Mwale as Associate Director – Audit and Assurance

Lusaka, Zambia | 12 August 2026 – RSM Zambia, a leading provider of Assurance, Tax and Consulting services, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Mwale as Associate Director – Audit and Assurance.

John's appointment strengthens the leadership of the firm's Audit and Assurance practice and reflects RSM Zambia's continued commitment to building a team of exceptional professionals to support clients in an evolving regulatory and business environment.

A Fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA), John brings more than a decade of experience spanning audit, advisory, financial reporting and capital raising.

Prior to joining RSM Zambia, John served as Advisory and Audit Manager at BDO Zambia. He also spent nearly four years with BDO USA LLP in New York as Audit Manager and Assistant Manager, where he gained extensive international experience serving a diverse portfolio of clients.

Throughout his career, John has led high-profile engagements across the mining, banking, energy and agriculture sectors. His experience includes assignments with CEC PLC, Standard Chartered Bank, Mopani Copper Mines, Boxpack Limited, Kagem Mining, Maamba Collieries and a broad portfolio of international listed companies.
