ABOUT JOHN

John Mwale is an Associate Director – Audit and Assurance at RSM Zambia, with over 10 years of experience in audit, corporate advisory, transaction support, financial reporting, and business valuations. He has extensive local and international experience, including four years with BDO USA LLP in New York and experience with BDO Zambia.

John has worked across a range of sectors, including banking, mining, energy, manufacturing, agriculture, and financial services. His expertise includes audit and assurance, corporate finance, due diligence, capital raising, sustainability reporting, and strategic advisory. He has led complex engagements, managed multidisciplinary teams, and supported clients on significant transactions and reporting requirements.

John is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA), a Full Member of the Institute of Directors Zambia (IODZ), and holds a Certificate in Reporting with the GRI Sustainability Standards.
