As form today, January 8th, companies’ that earned more than BRL78 million in 2017 will be subjected to eSocial. It must register its information and send all tables to eSocial until 02/28/2018.
In March 2018, this group of companies’ shall submit the information related to its own workers and their bond with the company (non-recurrent events), such as admissions, absence and dismissals. The eSocial implementation timeline was published in the Resolution 03 of the eSocial Steering Committee.
The main guidelines are:
- Events must be transmitted only through the employers' own systems (or their accountants) via the Web Service. There is no web page with graphical interface, in the mold of the Home Module.
- Avoid transmitting information only for testing. The restricted production environment will remain available for testing.
- Companies might challenge the enforceability of eSocial. The request shall be made to the Brazilian IRS through the weblink: https://portal.esocial.gov.br/servicos/contestacao-obrigatoriedade-ao-esocial/contestacao-obrigatoriedade-ao-esocial.
