It was published today, June 23, 2017, in the Official Diary of the Union, CGES Resolution No. 9/2017 of the eSocial Management Committee, which proved the availability of restricted production environment to start the eSocial testing phase.

The availability of the environment shall be carried out in two stages, starting at 7 o'clock on June 26, 2017 to July 31, 2017 in this first moment only for Information Technology companies. The second moment will be from August 1 to December 31 for all companies.

Depending on the restricted capacity of the environment, its use must be carried out in a controlled manner, taking into account the guidelines and limits described in the technical manual to be published on the eSocial site.

Starting in 2018 eSocial will also be required in two stages, starting January 1, 2018 for employers with revenues in 2016 above R $ 78 million and on July 1, 2018 for other employers, with the exception of events Occupational health and safety that shall be mandatory after six (6) months of the beginning of the actual sending of the eSocial.
