This marks a strategic turning point for RSM France, which unveils its new roadmap for the next six years to address the evolving challenges faced by businesses and decision-makers.

RSM currently has nearly 1,200 employees in France. The group achieved a turnover of €116M in 2020 and anticipates significant growth for 2021.

Paris, October 19, 2021. In an unprecedented health and economic context, RSM France, a member of the 6th largest global network in consulting, audit, and accounting, announces a new governance, a significant milestone in the story and development of a company undergoing transformation. Following the vote of the partners, Paul Vaillant becomes the leader of a new generation of RSM, which is evolving to better respond to the challenges of large and medium-sized businesses, employees, and partners.

Building a community of offers, services, and expertise

On January 1, 2021, RSM France presented itself for the first time as a unified entity. Today, RSM France sends a strong signal by unifying the voice and decision-making of its partners under one banner of knowledge and values. While it contributes to the creation of an affectio societatis, the new governance also symbolizes the alignment of partners who now unite to pursue the same objectives. An operational committee bringing together all service lines will be responsible for ensuring the uniform development of consulting activities and fostering greater synergies and cross-functionality between its areas of expertise, supported by a college of 85 partners, including 8 new partners co-opted in 2021, and 1,100 employees. This transformation will better equip decision-makers and executives with best practices across a comprehensive geographic network and a broad range of expertise and sectors.

With this reorganization, RSM France aims to build a sustainable project that is coherent with the market, business, and societal changes, to which all of its peers can contribute. In a time when executives, regulators, and partners are seeking trust and proximity with their advisors and all accounting professionals, RSM sharpens its offering to align with the challenges facing businesses and the changes within our society.

Infusing innovation and meaning into the accounting professions to enhance business performance and employee experience

The last 18 months have not slowed RSM's ambition to be closely aligned with the needs of its current and future clients. The offering has expanded with teams in areas such as actuarial science, CSR, and green IT. The cross-functional nature of the services is now being used to support sector-specific expertise in areas such as retail, finance, large-scale distribution, real estate, and the broader industrial sector.

Building personalized career paths

To support its growth, RSM recruits nearly 200 employees each year. Currently, 150 positions are open across all regions. With a strong presence in regional economic hubs, RSM offers motivating career paths that include mobility, training, and increasing responsibility.

"Our commitment to integrating diverse profiles contributes to this dynamic. Each employee can build their employability, whether they continue their professional journey within the structure or in a company," states Paul Vaillant.

"The merging of entities allows for the development of synergies and local teams, regardless of the size or sector of our clients," highlights Jean-Marc Morel, partner in charge of training and employee career paths.

The BEe RSM project, deployed across the entire country, is an ambitious initiative that prioritizes bottom-up dialogue and the involvement of employees in RSM's roadmap on topics such as work-life quality, management, and employee career development. Responsible for the program and its implementation, each working group has been provided with the necessary resources to achieve a tangible project and rapid deployment.

The first accomplishment was the clear definition of our values: commitment, kindness, proximity, and audacity, and RSM's mission – to help people and organizations grow while respecting the collective interest.

"We have engaged all of our teams in the collaborative construction of a common project," emphasizes Paul Vaillant. "Ambition is shared, and the responsibility of carrying and embodying our values is as well."
