ISACA is an international professional organization dedicated to improving the governance and management of information systems through globally recognized frameworks, methodologies, and professional certifications. The association has more than 170,000 members across 188 countries.

Virginie Cuvilliez, who previously served as Secretary General of ISACA-AFAI, succeeds Vincent Manière, who led the association since 2020. She becomes the first woman to hold the presidency of this professional association dedicated to information systems careers.

Her objectives include building on the association’s strong foundations to ensure ISACA-AFAI remains at the forefront of emerging digital issues—both technological and societal—while offering the digital community expanded opportunities for professional development and active participation in working groups in France and internationally.

With over 20 years of experience in audit and consulting, Virginie has held key roles in a digital services company and a Big Four firm, including ERP project manager and senior IT manager. She also spent four years at France’s High Council of Statutory Auditors (H2A, formerly H3C), serving as an IT specialist focused on major audit firms and mandates involving CAC 40 companies and SOx compliance.

Since October 2021, Virginie has been a Partner at RSM, heading the Financial Audit IT department. She is a recognized expert in IT risk, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, leading and coordinating complex IT and IT audit projects. She also oversees RSM France’s Blockchain and Crypto Asset service offering, bringing her expertise in blockchain project security, DeFi, smart contract audits, and algorithm reviews.

Aged 46, Virginie holds a degree from SKEMA Business School and is certified in COBIT5 (IT governance), CRISC (IT risk), CDPSE (data privacy), and CISA (IT audit). Since 2020, she has also lectured at SKEMA, where she teaches the Governance and Digitalization of Information Systems module within the specialized Master’s program in Management Control, Audit, and Information Systems.
