Audit Manager for RSM in Guatemala with more than 18 years of experience in Audit of financial statements, financial consulting, internal controls, implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Expert in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Auditing Standards. Public Accountant and Auditor with a master’s degree in Tax Management and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

David has worked as an audit manager at Grant Thornton Guatemala, Moore Stephens and as an audit senior at Price Waterhouse Coopers.

  • Pre-planning and planning of audit work for private companies, public entities, non-profit and government entities.
  • Risk definition and audit approach. 
  • Monitoring and review of audit reports.
  • Discussion and presentation of results.

  • Internal and external Audit review processes: ISQC1 and ISA to different Firms in Central America.

He has participated in different projects and institutions in Guatemala, including   audits  of projects  financed by the Inter-American Development Bank, European Union, USAID, UNDP. 

With more than 50,000 hours of experience in the development of audits for private entities in different sectors: Industry, Agriculture, Education, Transportation & Logistics, Energy, Public Services, and others.
