NetSuite, a global leading provider of ERP software, has introduced new unified customer experience management initiatives recently.  Financial, transactional, inventory and customer service data can be accessed throughout the entire organization.  Businesses could allow their customers to interact with the firm anyway they want through a rich, personalized experience.  Consistent brand management enables with a single system in control of pricing, promotion, order management, etc. activities across the entire customer journey.  In addition, the SuiteCommerce MyAccount help business to spend less time on routine tasks including paying invoices and submitting support cases.  Expansion to full SuiteCommerce experience is available at any time for businesses.

Don't get dragged down by technical debt

Odoo, the leading powerhouse of ERP software will provide maintenance service that ensures customers do not get blindsided by technical debt.  When every change made by Odoo, the existing code needs to be updated in order to accommodate/reflect the changes brought forth by the custom code.  These technical debts may run out of control when companies are consistently stuck on the old version of the software because it makes it too cost-prohibitive to upgrade to a newer version.  Odoo will provide a unit of measure to project costs of maintaining custom code (pre-marriage) and the technical services to deliver this maintenance.  This is to ensure Odoo remain honest, transparent, and communicative.

KnowBe4’s global cybersecurity experts make predictions for 2021 cyber trends

KnowBe4, the provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, released their expectation of cyber trends that we are facing in 2021.  Their predictions include consideration of the existing market environment; for instance, the expect hackers may take advantages of people’s conditional vulnerabilities and stresses under COVID-19.  Technology advancements might become a loophole for more malicious activities as well.  In terms of remote network security, the pandemic has forced organizations to move their workforce remotely.  Employees working at home will be prone to supply chain attacks, said Kevin Mitnick, the chief hacking officer of KnowBe4.  More investment to remote worker’s security is expected with better training and security tools for employees.

 

Experts warn consumers of cybersecurity threats as the holidays approach

As the COVID-19 pandemic shows no signs of slowing down our community, it is undeniable that we purchase products more frequently online which a vulnerability that hackers ready to dive into.  According to Abhijit Nag, an assistant professor of Computer Information Systems at Texas A&M Central Texas, phishing emails may feature spelling error or links lead to fraudulent websites.  One of the possible ways suggested was asking the company involved to verify the email received by you.  When customers are shopping online, it is advised passwords should never be saved on web browsers and make sure the website is secured.  Checking your bank statement regularly to avoid unauthorized transactions took place in your account.
