About Joerg

Joerg joined RSM Switzerland in 2025 as part of the M&A and International Corporate Tax team within the Tax & Legal Services department in Zurich.

He holds a PhD in International Finance from Shanghai University of Economics and Finance and a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Zurich. 

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification. Joerg speaks German, English, French, and Mandarin.

Before joining RSM, Joerg worked as a manager in the M&A tax departments of two Big 4 firms. Prior to that, he served as local tax manager for the Swiss subsidiary of a Chinese multinational, where he was responsible for all Swiss tax matters.

His areas of specialization include corporate restructurings, M&A tax due diligence, dividend repatriations, and domestic and international tax advisory for Swiss and multinational groups. He manages complex M&A and international tax projects with a strong focus on quality, coordination, and effective collaboration with clients and international tax teams.
