Ostap Olendiy
President, Managing Partner

Ostap Olendiy is the Managing Partner of RSM Ukraine, responsible for the firm’s leadership, strategy and development, including strengthening audit quality, expanding advisory capabilities and driving sustainable growth across local and international markets. He leads the transformation of RSM Ukraine into a full-service professional firm aligned with RSM global standards, with a strong focus on quality, governance and client service excellence.

He plays a key role in attracting top talent and establishing new service lines to support the firm’s continued growth and market positioning.

Ostap has more than 20 years of professional experience, including over 13 years in public accounting, audit and advisory services. He began his career as a financial analyst and controller before joining Grant Thornton Ukraine in 2013 as an audit assistant, where he progressed through the ranks to become Vice-Managing Partner and Head of Audit & Assurance.

During his time at Grant Thornton, Ostap led the firm’s audit practice and managed large, complex engagements across multiple industries, including cross-border audits involving multinational groups, while serving as a key engagement partner for many of the largest private and public interest entities in Ukraine, including strategically important companies. He also participated in international quality control inspections of member firms across the network.

He has been actively involved in audit quality and methodology development, contributing to the implementation of audit standards and procedures in line with international requirements.

In addition to his professional work, Ostap contributes to the development of the profession in Ukraine as a lecturer and trainer for auditors and finance professionals.
