RSM Brasil was chosen by Médecins Sans Frontières to conduct a study of its processes and information technology systems in order to comply with the instructions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) established by the European Union in 2016. Such legislation establishes that European institutions and companies are obliged to ensure the data protection of European citizens and corporations.


The partnership between RSM Brasil and Médecins Sans Frontières for this unprecedented service for the organization in Brazil aims to meet the deadline for adaptation to GDPR, established for May 2018. This partnership was led by the New Business Director, Wlamir Martins, and will have the works conducted by the IT Director, Felipe José.


Commenting on the importance of this partnership with Médecins Sans Frontières that opens a new acting front for RSM Brasil, Wlamir Martins said: "it will serve as an important credential to develop this same type of work in other companies of European origin with subsidiaries in Brazil".


In this partnership, RSM Brasil offers, in services, the amount equivalent to 25,089 doses of measles vaccine, or 16,229 filters for blood transfusion, or 9,046 nasal tubes for children oxygenation, or 33 kits with 25 instruments to perform surgeries, helping Médecins Sans Frontières continue to fulfill its humanitarian mission around the world.
