Aurige Group, a leading player in heritage and historic-monument restoration, is pursuing its development with the acquisition of Verre & Métal and HEFI, two companies with complementary expertise in architectural metalwork and glazing.
A family-owned company founded in France, Aurige has established itself over the years as a benchmark in the preservation and enhancement of architectural heritage. The group today brings together several houses with complementary skills — stonemasons, sculptors, mosaicists, gilders and ironworkers — working on prestigious sites such as cathedrals, châteaux, private mansions and other emblematic buildings of French heritage. Aurige stands out for its ability to combine exceptional craftsmanship with modern innovation to meet the challenges of conserving and passing on these places steeped in history.
Verre & Métal has recognised expertise in complex architectural metalwork, and in glazed roofs and canopies (verrières) in particular. A specialist in refurbishment, notably on heritage sites and Parisian buildings, the company puts its technical expertise at the service of projects combining precision, innovation and exacting standards. HEFI, for its part, operates in the new-build construction of technically demanding architectural metalwork.
By bringing together these areas of expertise, Aurige continues to build an independent group capable of intervening across the entire life cycle of a building: design, restoration, refurbishment, conversion and new-build construction.
