RSM, the 6th largest global network in audit, expertise, and consulting, announces global revenue of 9.4 billion USD in 2023, reflecting a 16% annual growth. There was a 15% increase in audit activities (3.6 billion USD), a 17% rise in accounting expertise, and a 16% growth in consulting compared to 2022.
All regions showed significant growth
Europe impressed in a highly competitive market with a 36% growth compared to 2022, driven by sustained activity and the addition of a new member firm in Germany, RSM Ebner Stolz.
North America saw a 13% revenue increase for the last financial year, thanks to significant growth in tax and consulting services, as well as a strong acceleration in IT and ESG engagements.
A strategic merger in South Africa in July 2023, combined with substantial efforts across the region, contributed to a 29% increase in revenues in Africa over the period. Exceptional growth was also recorded in the MENA region, with a 30% increase compared to 2022. Latin America grew by 18%, and the Asia-Pacific region saw an 8% increase.
Since the launch of its Global Strategy 2030 “Taking charge of change,” RSM has consolidated its fundamentals to ensure sustained growth. The network is undergoing proactive transformation, focusing on four pillars: RSM’s people, Clients, Technology, and Solutions.

The first key milestone for RSM in 2024 is the launch of an evolution of its brand – with new visuals and a reimagined message designed to better reflect what RSM is today. It instills trust in a changing world.
Among the ongoing technological developments, January 2024 will see the launch of RSM Luca, a new digital audit ecosystem for the organization, integrating technologies and efficient processes to enable agile audits tailored to the complex and unique environments of its clients.
RSM is also committed to making significant investments throughout the year in ESG, as well as in the evolution of independence systems and control procedures to ensure services are always delivered at the highest level.
