The executive committee, consisting of 9 administrators, including 6 RSM employees, welcomes Nantenin Keita for a two-year term.
The Franco-Malian athlete joins Sarah Ourahmoune and Corinne Thouvenin as the qualified personalities on the RSM Foundation’s executive committee.
Her role, alongside the other committee members, will be to bring her experience and insights during the examination of eligible projects, the selection of projects, and the definition of the grant amounts.
Born in Mali, Nantenin Keita left her home country at a young age to move to France due to her albinism. This genetic mutation is the cause of her significant visual impairment. It was during her schooling that she discovered her passion for athletics. She became world champion (2006 and 2015) and Paralympic champion (2016) in several disciplines (200m, 400m).
Having earned a degree in education sciences, she currently works as a quality of life and working conditions officer in a social protection group. She is also deeply involved in the Salif Keita Foundation, which supports albinos and their families in Mali, focusing on three key areas:
- Education
- Health
- Public awareness
At the RSM Foundation, Nantenin Keita will contribute, alongside the other administrators, to examining eligible projects, selecting the projects to support, and choosing the amounts of grants to be awarded. Her perspective and experience will be valuable in shaping the Foundation’s initiatives.
"I would like to thank the RSM Foundation and the administrators, especially Sarah Ourahmoune, for introducing me to the Foundation and its initiatives. I was greatly interested in your projects, focused on inclusion and diversity. I am excited to support individuals and their projects around inclusion and diversity!"
