A 2022 Growth Driven by New Governance, a Strategic Plan for 2026, Engaged Teams, Innovative Skills, and Regional Expansion

Between the economic slowdown, rising raw material costs, supply chain difficulties, and recruitment challenges, 2022 was a turbulent year. Leaders had to navigate through a climate of persistent uncertainty. RSM mobilized its expertise more than ever to help its clients make informed decisions in order to manage their activities and continue their transformation process, in line with its "Grow Together" promise for its 2026 strategy.

To support its growth and stay close to the challenges of business leaders, RSM enhanced its consulting services for the digitalization of risk management and compliance processes with the acquisition of Legal & Digital. This innovative offering helps to strengthen trust in the economy. The firm also expanded its financial consulting services and change management post-crisis, while accelerating the development of its CSR offering. This strategy was one of the drivers of its performance in 2022.

RSM represents the agility of a human-sized company and the strength of an international network, driven by teams committed to an entrepreneurial dynamic. RSM France progressed in 2022 across all its activities. "We continue to develop our presence across the country with structures capable of offering our full range of services. This geographic proximity to our clients is a strength, especially now when leaders, regulators, and partners are seeking more trust and proximity with their partners," said Paul Vaillant, President of RSM France.

RSM wants to inspire its employees and future talent to "Grow Together" and give meaning to accounting professions

85% of jobs in 2030* do not yet exist. RSM is aware that accounting professions are at the top of the list of professions undergoing transformation. Their evolution is an opportunity to attract new talent to this profession, which is deeply rooted in the reality of business leaders. It offers multiple and personalized perspectives that RSM provides to its employees. Regardless of career level, "You haven’t finished growing," the promise of the upcoming employer branding campaign, is the commitment of a dynamic network that places people at the heart of its concerns. Specific programs such as regional centers of excellence, the Graduate program (audit/TS), and the RSM Foundation aim to address the needs for mobility, training, purpose, and balance for all employees.

With 1,250 employees, including 86 partners, the firm also offers a recruitment and retention policy of choice. RSM is committed to providing the best candidate and employer experience possible, focusing on five key areas: a unifying company culture, an attractive compensation and work-time arrangement policy, opportunities for intrapreneurship and international growth, strong CSR commitments embodied by concrete actions.

After recruiting 300 people in 2022, RSM plans to continue this momentum in 2023.

2023 Outlook: Creating Meaningful and Sustainable Value

To continue its growth and provide an ever more innovative response to business leaders, RSM aims to create "meaningful and sustainable value" for its employees and clients.

"RSM must be the firm of choice for entrepreneurial profiles who want to develop their business and skills. It is also a welcoming place for structures considering growth alternatives in a context of high concentration in our professions," adds Paul Vaillant.
