RSM France is taking a new step in the expansion of its service offering by structuring a dedicated practice around Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central - an ERP solution designed for SMEs, mid-sized companies, and transforming groups - and announcing the appointment of Sébastien Berthier, a recognized Business Central and financial transformation specialist, to lead its development.

A Strategic Business Central Offering Within the Global RSM Network

In response to the rapidly evolving needs of finance departments, RSM France is strengthening its presence in the cloud ERP market. The firm is leveraging the global momentum of the RSM network, which has made Business Central a strategic international priority.

This structured approach enables RSM France to provide French companies with a robust, proven solution fully integrated into the Microsoft ecosystem.

With this appointment, RSM confirms its ambition to become a leading Business Central player in France.

An Expert at the Intersection of Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Business Central

Sébastien Berthier’s career is built around a highly sought-after combination of expertise: financial leadership, business creation, and the development of Business Central practices.

Before leading ERP offerings, Sébastien held Chief Financial Officer (CFO) positions across a variety of sectors, including retail (Système U), real estate and property development, and structured SMEs. This hands-on experience gives him a precise understanding of CFO expectations when it comes to ERP systems: streamlined closing processes, data reliability, performance management, internal control, and process structuring.

His involvement within DFCG- Rennes chapter, Vice President for Brittany–Pays de la Loire, National President of DFCG Avenir, and member of the Executive Board - further strengthens his close ties with the finance community and his insight into the major transformations shaping the finance function.

A Business Central Specialist Since Its Launch in 2018

From the moment Business Central entered the market, Sébastien played a key role in structuring and developing ERP practices fully dedicated to the solution. He has supported CEOs and CFOs in making strategic system decisions and delivered implementations for SMEs, mid-sized companies, and corporate groups.

His entrepreneurial mindset—founding new entities, securing significant client accounts, and building strategic partnerships—complements a profile capable of both building and leading high-performing practices.

His active engagement within the Microsoft ecosystem (IAMCP France & EMEA, Executive Board, Partner-to-Partner committees) provides him with an international perspective on market standards and best practices.

Trained in finance (DECF–CNAM) and holding executive certifications from MIT (AI & Business Strategy, Digital Business Strategy), he combines ERP expertise, digital strategy, and the progressive integration of AI into management models.
