Among the first issues to be addressed when deciding to start a business in Italy is where to establish the registered office, an address that will be communicated to customers and suppliers, to the Revenue Services and the Chamber of Commerce, as well as to banks and business partners.

Usually, the address of the registered office coincides with that of the operating headquarters, but there are many situations where it may be appropriate to have distinct addresses. Or, in case of outsourced administrative and/or accounting services, having the registered office at the premises of the service provider could be a good choice.
