Dr. Roberta Buhagiar is a Doctor of Laws and a qualified lawyer with extensive experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, internal audit, and cybersecurity. She began her career in litigation before moving into senior legal and compliance roles within insurance companies and a GRC service provider.
In 2025, she joined RSM Malta as GRC Director, overseeing Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Cybersecurity service lines, supporting clients in aligning compliance programs with business models and risk frameworks. Roberta’s approach reflects RSM’s values of integrity, teamwork, and client focus, fostering clear objectives, collaboration, and continuous adaptation to regulatory developments.
