Jersey opens the Revised Visitor Attractions and Events Scheme for Applications

Jersey's Revised Visitor Attractions & Events Scheme replaces the original scheme introduced in February.   Application criteria have been updated so that more key businesses in the sector can benefit from Government of Jersey financial support.

The main changes to qualifying criteria are:

  • Annual turnover of more than £150,000 (reduced from £300,000)
  • Have experienced a detriment of 30% to turnover as a result of public health restrictions (reduced from 50%)
  • The requirement to be registered for GST has been removed

All changes have been backdated to the start of January 2021 andl cover the period to April 2021.
