“Capto Group” member firm of RSM in Georgia, supports the new project and takes part in “Tax  Moot Court Competition” that is to be held for the first time in Georgia by the Revenue Service.

The Competition will be conducted in two stages: written works and oral hearings. Students can introduce written work through December 30th, while oral hearings’ stage will be held from May 24th to 25th. The Managing Partner of “Capto Group” Gela Mghebrishvili is invited as an expert to evaluate students together with the representatives of the Revenue Service.
 

Main objective of the competition is to boost students’ interest in the study and research of the Georgian Tax Law, to raise awareness among them with regard of tax dispute procedures and to help them in the development of skills and knowledge necessary for the presentation and defense of the case in the course of the tax dispute.
 

Students with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees of the accredited universities regardless of specialization can take part in this dispute. Team registration is required for participation in the dispute on the web page www.rs.ge, which lasts through December 30th, and the deadline for the submission of the case factual circumstances is November 25th .

One student selected by “Capto Group” will be given 1 year monthly scholarship grant with the amount of 150 GEL and will have the opportunity to start working at “Capto Group” as an intern for the period of 3 months with future perspective to be employed. The second student chosen by the company will be given a Laptop and have the opportunity to start working at the company as intern for the period of 3 months with future perspective to be employed. And, the third student will have the opportunity as well to start working at “Capto Group” as intern for the period of 3 months with future perspective to be employed. The winning team will be handed by “Capto Group’s” corporate branded gifts.
 

The Competition will be carried out with the partnership and assistance of the following organizations: USAID, IFC, East-West Management Institute, US Treasury and Business Ombudsman of Georgia.
